Adam j. Dahl

Adam is the owner of AjD Technical Design & Production LLC which specializes in event design, production and solving unique problems.  Adam has an extensive knowledge of the live entertainment industry, having spent more than 15 years working in academic, amateur and professional settings. Adam holds an M.F.A. in Technical Design and Production from the Yale School of Drama, and has been extensively trained in many disciplines and techniques including structural design, theatrical rigging and advanced show control.  His creative solutions have been published in both in the Yale Technical Brief and by the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT).

Adam is also currently employed as the Technical Director for Fine Arts Programming at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University.  He oversees four different performance spaces that host over 200 campus, local and national touring events yearly.  He is also responsible for the training and supervision of 25+ student employees whom are the primary labor workforce for the venue.  Previously Adam worked for Rose Brand where he was tasked with solving production specific problems and was a key part in the design and development of the Panorama Digital Scenery Media Server line.

Adam resides in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota with his wife Leah and daughters Wren and Ivy.
