Thalia Bea Kostman

Thalia Bea Kostman graduated with an acting emphasis Theatre Major at Macalester College.  She was raised in Paris, France and California, and is now working in the Twin Cities.  Thalia’s specialties are physical comedy and singing.  Her training includes: mask and physical theatre work with Paul Herwig and Bob Rosen, five years of voice lessons with Heidi Jacobs, three years of voice lessons with Laurie Nichols, and six months of intensive physical work at Studio Magenia in Paris.  On the Macalester Main-stage, she was last seen in Marat/Sade (Duperret), Cabaret (KitKat singer/dancer), and The Laramie Project (Reggie Fluty, Matt Galloway).  Her singing credits include: back-up vocalist in Ben Folds Orchestra tours, “Sing to Me” series at The C Gallery, and National Anthem singer at the Badwater Ultramarathon.  She has also worked on various film projects with local Twin Cities artist Rachel Perlmeter.
