Renee Guittar

Renee Guittar is a dancer and choreographer from Lincoln, Nebraska. Renee recently received a B.A. in dance with honors from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. At Gustavus, Renee choreographed for multiple main stage productions and was selected to present her work at the American College Dance Festival, where the adjudicators described her choreography as having “spot on clarity, sensitivity, nuance, and maturity.” Renee has worked intensively with choreographers Jeffrey Peterson and Melissa Rolnick, as well as world-renowned site specific choreographer Stephan Koplowitz. Trained extensively in ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary dance, Renee joined the Lincoln Midwest Ballet Company at the age of 15 and performed in numerous ballet productions with the company. Renee has trained at the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange Summer Institute in Washington D.C. as well as at the Bates Dance Festival in Lewiston, Maine. Renee is extremely excited to be on tour with The Magic of Jared Sherlock!
